Sports Fields

This four-field softball park is located across from Tangle Ridge Golf Club West of Hwy 67. It is one of the premier facilities in Texas and is a great place to play or host a tournament.

This park features organized playing fields for softball, soccer, and football as well as 3 playgrounds, picnic pavilions, walking trails, a scenic 1.5-mile paved hike and bike trail, and an outdoor amphitheater seating 2,000.

The City of Cedar Hill parks and recreation department hosts events throughout the year including 2 kite-flying days, a Valentine’s Day Daddy / Daughter dance, fishing events for children, and concerts in the amphitheater at Valley Ridge Park.

The City is home to the 7,500-acre Lake Joe Pool and the Cedar Hill State Park which offers fishing, boating, and water sports along with camping. There are also other recreational opportunities in the community such as an 82-acre county park, a 503-acre church camp, and a commercial miniature golf course.
